AMERICAN RAPPER JUICE WRLD TAKES OVER STREAMING PLATFORMS AFTER SUDDEN DEATH

While the music industry is still in mourning, a lot is happening few days after the death of Juice Wrld.

Juice Wrld is now the most most-streamed artiste in the United State after his untimely death over the weekend.

According to a report published on Variety.com on Wednesday (Dec. 11), Juice WRLD was the most-streamed artist in the U.S. after his discography crossed more than 38 million streams across multiple platforms on Sunday (Dec. 9). That’s nearly 24 million more than any other artist received that same day.

The late rapper’s music took over streaming platforms as four of his songs re-entered the top 10 on Apple Music and Spotify, and the top three spots on Amazon’s Movers and Shakers list. His breakthrough chart-topper, “Lucid Dreams,” was the most-streamed song of the day with more than 4.4 million plays and 3,000 digital downloads, followed by “Legends” (with 3.1 million streams and 1,700 digital downloads), “Robbery” and “All Girls Are the Same.”
