‘Ilana Omo Oodua’ faults FG plan to file fresh charges against Yoruba Nation Agitator Sunday Igboho

THE umbrella body of the Yoruba self-determination group, Ilana Omo Oodua, has faulted Federal Government’s plan to file fresh charges against Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho.

This was as the group advised the Federal Government to pay the N20bn damages awarded Igboho by the court.
The spokesperson of the group, Maxwell Adeleye, however stated that the Federal Government was only interested in damaging the reputation of the activist.

He went further to explain that Igboho had not committed any offence that warranted him to be jailed, adding that his aides would also be suing the FG again for damaging their reputation.
