PCC has called on EFCC to evolve more drastic strategies in tackling the menace of Ponzi scheme operators in Nigeria

THE Public Complaints Commission has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to evolve more drastic strategies in tackling the menace of Ponzi scheme operators across the country.

The call was made yesterday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State by the state Commissioner,  Public Complaints Commission,  Dr. Alphaeus Paul-Worika, during a courtesy visit to the Port Harcourt Zonal Commander of the EFCC,  Assistant Commander Aliyu Naibi, in his office.

The Head, Media and Publicity of EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, said this in a statement issued yesterday and made available to newsmen.

Paul- Worika said Nigerians were groaning under the yoke of fraudulent practices of Ponzi scheme operators, saying only the EFCC could save the situation.
