FCTA says it has received $15million of the World Bank’s $750million given to Nigeria as COVID-19 Intervention fund

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) says it has received $15million of the World Bank’s $750million given to Nigeria as COVID-19 Intervention fund.

The Permanent Secretary, represented by the Director, FCT Human Resources Management, Bashir Mohammed, while speaking at the inauguration of the steering committee to pilot the COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (CARES) programme added that the fund would be channeled to programmes that can cushion the effects of the pandemic on citizens.
