FG has reached a Truce with aggrieved Health Workers under JOHESU

The Federal Government yesterday has reached a truce with aggrieved health workers under the Joint Health Sector Unions and Assembly of Healthcare Professionals, after a five-hour meeting.

The marathon meeting which was hosted by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, began at 4pm and ended around past 9pm, with an understanding reached by both the Federal Government and the unions.

It will be recalled that JOHESU had last week issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to meet their demands or face strike.
